My Subtle Iced Matcha Recipe Will Turn Haters Into Believers

Matcha has never been my first choice when I'm at a coffee shop. After trying it two or three times, I realized I wasn't to keen on how it was prepared.

The times I've had matcha at coffee shops, the barista adds entirely too much clumpy matcha powder and way too much sweetener.

Needless to say, I've sworn off the green drink for quite some time but my opinion changed when I found a very affordable (only $8.99) and high-quality powder on Amazon. I bought it and decided to try my hand at making my very own iced matcha at home.

What You'll Need

A Matcha powder of your choosing
Coconut milk (or whatever milk you prefer)
Your preferred liquid sweetener (I used a zero calorie one but any will do)


1 C Coconut Milk
1 Tsp Matcha Powder (make sure to dissolve it in a bit of hot water first)
1 Tbsp sweetener 
A tiny splash of vanilla

In a glass of your choosing, add your sweetener, vanilla, and milk. Use a spoon and mix it all together, add ice and finish your drink off by pouring your matcha mixture over the drink. That's it, you've done it! You've made a deliciously subtle matcha drink that'll give you energy and keep you trendy. You're welcome, LOL!
